Our Team

Amit Maloo - Founder

A Chartered Accountant and a Registered Valuer (Securities or Financial Assets) with 20 plus years of industry experience including 15 years of working in private equity business.

Prior to starting the Collab Advisors LLP, he has worked with 2 recognized and leading private equity firms First, with True North (earlier known as India Value Fund) and more recently as CFO Partner of Ambit Pragma, an SME focused buyout Fund.

Amit was the founding team member of Ambit Pragma and was instrumental in setting up 4 funds in India and abroad. He was responsible for building the finance team, developing and managing the system, processes, tools, reports etc for the investor reporting, portfolio valuations, accounting, tax compliances, regulatory compliances for the fund and the manager entity.

Prior to PE, he worked with young companies like Samsara Shipping (Logistics Sector), Fame India Limited (Entertainment Sector), and India's leading CA firm RSM & Co. (Audit Consulting).

Amit has been actively working with young growth-oriented enterprises and assisting them in setting up the finance, accounts, compliance, corporate governance framework, MIS etc.

Jignesh Damani - Partner

Jignesh is a Chartered accountant with 16 years of post-qualification experience in the financial services segment. He has been associated with Ambit Pragma (PE fund) for 10 years assisting the CFO in accounting, reporting and compliances.

Jignesh has hand on experience of managing the complete back office operations (Accounting, SEBI reporting, RBI compliance, Tax compliance, secretarial matters etc) of any PE/VC Fund.

Prior to Ambit Pragma, he had worked with KPMG for 6 years as Assistant Manager in Audit - Financial Services and was responsible for Statutory audits of Banks, Insurance companies, Broking firms, NBFC, PE Funds, Mutual fund houses and IFRS statutory audit assignments.

Prior to KPMG, Jignesh has worked in the areas of finance, accounting, and tax with ICICI Bank and Kiran Mehta Co Chartered Accountants.

Shashank Maloo - Associate Partner

Shashank is a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Valuer (Securities or Financial Assets) has over 6 years of experience in statutory audits, control implementation, tax audit and stock audits. He has worked with Grant Thornton LLP, India for 3 years and PKF Chartered Accountants in UAE for 2 years. He has valuable experience of working on numerous diverse accounts in the field of Assurance Services, Internal financial controls implementation, IND AS implementation and IFRS implementation.

Shashank has gained immense experience and knowledge across various industries comprising entities engaged in manufacturing trading, marketing and education service.

Dhiraj Rathod - Associate Partner

Dhiraj is a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Valuer (Securities or Financial Assets) has over 6 years of experience in statutory audits, tax audit and stock audits. He has worked with Grant Thornton LLP one of the Big firms in India He has valuable experience of working on numerous diverse accounts in the field of Assurance Services. Dhiraj has gained immense experience and knowledge across various industries comprising leaders in Software industries, Services industries and Manufacturing etc.

Neeraj Aggarwal - Associate Partner

Neeraj has more than 15 years of experience in the Finance & Secretarial domain specialising in Financial Planning & Analysis, Project Management, GAAP & Taxation, Statutory Compliances, Fund Raising, MIS, Accounting and Auditing and has worked across various companies in Service Sector, Pharma and Private Equity Fund. Neeraj has been instrumental in driving systems and processes for early stage companies and PE funded companies.
